Releia
Releia lets two people share a live heartbeat, no matter how far apart they are. It is built for couples, family and close friends who are separated by distance.
Wear your watch, pair with your person, and start a session. Their heartbeat appears on your watch in real time. You can feel it as a gentle vibration in sync with their pulse, or watch it quietly on screen.
Supported watches
Releia is an iPhone app with a companion app for Garmin watches. These models are supported today:
Garmin Forerunner 55
Garmin fenix 7 and fenix 8 series, including Pro and Solar editions
Garmin epix (Gen 2) and epix Pro (Gen 2) series

Accounts and email
You create an account inside the app with your own email address. Nobody is added by anyone else, and there are no mailing lists.
We send exactly two kinds of email, and both are sent only because you asked for them: a code to verify your address when you sign up, and a code to reset your password if you request one.
We do not send newsletters, promotions, product announcements or any other marketing. Your email address is used to sign you in and to let your partner find you when you pair. It is never sold or shared.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, under Account. Deleting it removes your account and your pairing.
Privacy
Releia is built to hold as little as possible. Heartbeat data is relayed straight to your partner and is never stored on our servers. Hence the name: Re-lei-a, from "relay".
We keep only what the service needs to work, which is your account and your pairing. All data is processed on servers in Ireland, inside the European Union. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Why it exists
I built the first version of Releia for my girlfriend, Faith, as a Christmas gift. Something small to help us feel closer while we are long distance. It grew from there.
