This page outlines what data is processed by Releia and for what purposes.
The following types of data are processed to provide the service:
• Account data (email address)
• App and device identifiers used for authentication and data delivery
• Heartbeat information you choose to share (to enable the heartbeat sharing feature)
Data is used to operate the app, authenticate accounts, deliver heartbeat sharing, prevent misuse, and resolve technical issues.
Your email address is used to sign you in, to let your partner find you when you pair, and to send you account emails. Account emails are limited to two kinds, and both are sent only in response to something you did: a verification code when you create an account, and a reset code when you ask to reset your password. Releia does not send newsletters, promotions or any other marketing email, and does not add your address to any mailing list.
Heartbeat data is relayed between paired users in real time and is not written to storage.
No personal data is sold, and no information is stored longer than needed for transmission.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, under Account. This removes your account, your email address and your pairing.
Third-party infrastructure is used to operate the service.
All data is routed through GDPR-compliant servers located in Ireland, within the European Union.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service.
